WHAT DOES A DENTAL ASSISTANT DO?
Dental assistants have a variety of responsibilities, but their primary responsibility is patient care in a dental office. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

The short answer is- no.  Dental Assisting is one of the few professional careers that does not require a degree.  A High school diploma/GED may make it easier to comprehend the material, however, it is not mandatory.
